The party needs a soundtrack
You already know how this goes. You play it at the party, or send it to the group chat at 8am on the big day, and the birthday becomes an event. The lyric with their name lands. Someone laughs at the verse about the birthday outfit they tolerate for exactly one photo. Someone else goes quiet at the verse about the tenth birthday. Your memories, sung back to the whole room.
What the song is built from
What you give us: their name, their age (or your best guess — rescue math counts), the nickname only your family uses. The party scene: the way they lose their mind over the treat cake, the special dinner, the wrapping paper they investigated instead of the gift. The milestone: the first birthday in your home, the tenth. We use only the details you share. We don't invent what didn't happen. And you steer the mood: joyful, tender, funny, or all three at once.
When people give one
Many of our songs are gifts — birthday songs especially. You send the song ahead of the party; the room hears the name in the chorus before the candles are lit.
- For your own dog or cat — the guest of honor, sung. (See: custom songs about dogs, custom songs about cats.)
- For a friend's pet — you will be the person whose gift gets talked about at the party.
- For the adoption anniversary instead — the other big day. (See: gotcha day songs.)
Ready before the party
Every song starts with a free preview, ready in about two minutes. Order a few days ahead and the finished song is ready for the big moment. If it's them, keep the full song for a one-time $39. If it isn't, you pay nothing. You can reshape the words or the feel as many times as you need before you keep it.
One honest tip
Tell us their birthday personality — the dog who believes the party is for them versus the cat who hides under the bed until it's over. Build the song around the party scene, not the date: the candles, the chaos, the special dinner. Songs about the day land harder than songs about the number.
